Marijuana And Hepatitis C

I was told by my doctor that it is very bad to smoke marijuana when you have hep c and if you're going to do it to use a filtering pipe. I was told I could buy one at a headshop. Is there anyone with true or false info on this? Thank you all.

I am not aware of any research showing this, but I am also not a doctor. All the research I've read lists no warnings about it with various medications, or various medical conditions.

As I said, I am not a doctor, so I can only speak as to the research articles and studies that I've read, and there are always some exceptions to certain this, for instance the NIH does warn that smoking it may not be safe for people with COPD, chronic bronchitis, or asthma. And adequate studies have not been down to test its interactions with some medications.

Are you on any other medications?

The other consideration, of course, is whether or not you live somewhere that it has been legalized, for medical, or recreational use. That can further complicate matters. If it is not legal, you could face jail time, fines, and your doctor could also get in trouble.
