Hello, Jackie! How are you?
It stands for milliequivalents, the prefix milli denotes that the measure has been multiplied by 1,000.
The FDA classifies this as a supplement, it can be very harsh on the stomach and should be taken with food.
Is there anything else I can help with?
Thank you for your answer. My husband had a Heart Attack several years ago and while he was in the hospital the doctor only gave him 150 mg and then reduced it to 75 mg. They also said really high doses could cause heart stoppage. My Potassium was 3.1 and according to the report I got said that 3.4 was normal and I can't really see 1500 mg of Potassium was necessary. What is your opinion.
