How many international units (I.U.) are in 2.0 mcg of Vitamin B12?

I have never seen vitamin B-12 measured in (I.U) international units. It's almost always measured in micrograms.

From what I've read, 2.4 mcg per day, is reportedly the FDA's recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for vitamin B12.

The conversion charts that I've come across supporting MCG to IU only pertain to the following vitamins: A, B1 through B6, C, D & E.

Perhaps contacting a local pharmacy may be your best bet? However, it seems to me that as long as you can measure the recommended daily allowance (e.g. 100% daily value) then that should be adequate enough for determining how much should be taken in any 24hr period unless specifically told otherwise by a prescribing doctor...
