Lyrica Lawsuit (Page 34)

Does anyone know if there is an ongoing lawsuit against the company who puts out Lyrica? I am a mess from it. Do we have a leg to stand on when it comes to the side effects they found out from people like us? I am a long termer. I have been taking 900 mg since 2005. Is there anyone representing us? Thank you

Hi everyone,

We have been keeping an eye on this thread over the last week and it does appear that a number of you want to get in touch with one-another.

Our goal is to always provide the best possible service to our users. We have always been concerned about individuals posting their private contact information on our threads for several reasons. First and foremost, we like to protect the privacy and anonymity of our visitors. Second, we are unable to verify who an individual really is just from an email address, so we have no way of knowing what somebody's true intentions are when others contact them directly. We would not want somebody to capitalize on or scam our vistiors simply because their email address was available on our public threads.

D Boy , we have suffered enormously from Lyrica our selves but we are in Australia , does that count , or does every one have to come from the same country ?.

Wow nice Dboy! Because someone can't figure out your email address they aren't suffering or didn't suffer. I know I couldn't figure out what my own email address was when I was on lyrica and not everyone is back to normal I know I am not.

D boy has found someone to help us with the lyrica problem. We just have to be patient until a way can be found and follow any directions and hope we can get help with this lyrica problem. I wish we could google or facebook each other and get better help. I hope this gets posted but it probably won't because I mentioned two forbidden words.

626, 630, and 658 are my blogs that might help you becca. There is hope out there. We may soon find a lawyer who will help us with lyrica and a class action suit or what ever. Try to hang in there. And if this site will let us contact each other as they said that hope just got bigger. Everyone try to hang in there. I was lucky most of my symptoms went away, the only thing that still remains is memory problems, especially short term memory. I have to write things down. Hang in there becca.

I also have a lyrica website on fb. I have many activists I connect with and hoping we can get some larger support because alot of what needs to happen is political in nature. Sad reality is that BOTH sides of the aisle have taken a HUGE payout from Pfizer to stifle all lawsuits, which is totally illegal in the US but they are doing it anyway. They are liable under law for damages their products cause in this country. They want a free pass to operate above the law and think paying off politicians who hold shot tenures will work out. If we make it a major election issue it will stop working right then. What is being done to silence and postpone helping the victims is criminal. Our lives are suffering while their CEOs and lawyers and gov officials are pocketing millions from our suffering. It needs to stop.

Nick, I am hoping what D boy is planning, will help and I will not forget the people in australia if what he plans for lyrica come true. When my son was in the navy, on the john c stennis aircraft carrier, which went to afganistan, they stopped @ perth, and h found the people there very frienly. In fact, one elderly couple took him into their home while the ship was in port. Iguess they thought he was tired of ship food and wanted to give him a few good home cooked meals. If we can get law suit going because of lyrica, it may open the flood gates for people inyour country and other countries because then there will be a legal pecident. I wll try to post what I can when I find out anything. Good luck to you and may god keep you safe.

Thank you very much for your reply mary r ziegler , you must have a beautiful heart and i am glad your son enjoyed his stay in Perth . I am sure at some time in the future, hopefuly sooner than later we will recieve justice for the damages caused to us all by Lyrica .

Mamaj , dont know how long you were or are on Lyrica and at what dose you take but i really dont know of any one else that has done well out of takeing Lyrica . I am very happy that this medication has helped you but for so many others it has been a night mare ,

Nick, I've been on 50 mg for 2 1/2 years. I saw evidence of some side effects w/ 75, so I stuck with 50 once a day. Before Lyrica, I was a mess. I had daily attacks of trigeminal neuralgia that impaired my ability to do anything normal and some days could not drive a car. This is the first drug I could tolerate and it's changed my life back to what it was before I had neuralgia. I should never have posted on this thread. I discuss issues with some other folks who are doing well with it on another discussion group. I'm sorry some folks can't take it. But I need the administration to take my name off of this thread. I hope you all get relief somewhere.

Nick, if you want to talk more about lyrica, look for wagaman on face. It could be about a maiden name attached to me. Renee has contacted me and so has kim and D boy. D boy supposdely has found a lawyer. I hope it is not a scam. If youdecide to contact me, I will tell you what lyrica did to me, however I consider myself one of the lucky ones who have gotten off lyrica. mammaj , at 50 mg your dose was very low , my son was up to 75 x 4 per day , that when the real damage was done .

Mary- I am not on facebook but I did give my email address to this site they said they will give it to you and the others if you contact them and give your ok. did everyone see they posting they gave and get the email they sent saying they would let us contact one another. But I was able to find you on facebook I will join it if I need to. But go back and look for the email from this site last week and read their posting. Thank you

I took Lyrica for only two months and figured out myself what havoc it was wreaking on my body (swollen toes, swollen fingers, muscle aches all over, joint pain all over, poor concentration, etc. My doctor never warned me of any side effects. I have been off it now for 10 days and I still have all those side effects. The owner of one of our herb and organic stores suggested I take Super Thisilyn (milk thistle), a Detox formula, along with N-A-C (N-Acetyl-L-Csteine), support for liver function.
