If you have had an adverse reaction to Lyrica, please contact a law firm. I just called mine and gave them my basic information, and they will be having a lawyer contact us. This drug is dangerous, deadly, and should be pulled from the market. Amomg all the usual issues, today i noticed a new one had been added. For males, sperm motility can be affected and children created by parents using Lyrica, there is the possibility of birth defects. Please call and at least get on record with this firm. The more of us who call and tell our stories, the more likely it is that the drug company is going to have to cover our medical expenses, pain and suffering, etc.

Laura, I had to roll out of bed, couldn't see my feet to put shoes on, couldn't eat either or the pain got worse. You don't gain massive weight without a reason. And notice that it is said weight gain but not what kind, fat or fluid, or both to cover their ass. I also had difficulty breathing and was put on inhalers of which I don't need now. Feb is right around the corner, hang in there!! You didn't say what med your doctor changed you to. Best wishes

I had the exect reaction but my dodgy Dr took me off it straight away..... saying its a well known side effect..... I was dead for 15 minutes I'm told..... but still can't find a lawyer here in Australia with the back bone to stand up to the doctor and the drug company...... makes me sick..... and I've just been told yesterday I cannot have any contact with my 2 beautiful boys.

So the other day I am at the eye doctors (believe it or not but my eyes reverted for the better after getting off Lyrica, its a slow change) I pick up this magazine and there's this whole two page ad on Lyrica. Front page all about how it is believed to calm nerve pain from Fibromyalgia. Doesn't mention anything about neuropathy as it was originally prescribed for. I imagine because they lost the lawsuit on that one. The back page listed all the side effects we have been talking about, but some are vague like weight gain but not what kind. Fat or fluid. Suicidal thoughts and actions, itchiness, swelling of hands, legs, and feet, difficulty swallowing. And the list goes on. There's at least 20 different ones. But many of us have had side effects that are not listed. HOWEVER, at the end of everything it says IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY OF THESE RARE SIDE EFFECTS CONTACT THE FDA. Maybe that's what we should all be doing. The FDA is who filled a lawsuit in 2013 for not doing drug trials before selling it as medication for neuropathy. The FDA will get this off the market if there is enough complaints.

My 15 yr old daughter was on lyrica, she took her life in august 2015 ,I know this medication was causing suicidal thoughts she started cutting and halusinating. . Dr tried to tell me it wasn't the medication

We are a looking for one. Look down a couple of comments and one was suggested as a possibility in Australia. Nobody seems to know of one in the US. I think everyone should just start calling lawyers in their area to see. First consultations are always free!

I've been eagerly looking for a lawyer with a backbone to stand up to the doctor and Pfizer here in Australia.....Shian below tolde of one on this blog but he's never gotten back to me.... could all you guys over in U.S.A..... PLEASE ask if your lawyer's will add me from Australia to the class action???

Those of us have not been able to find a lawyer although I'm not sure how many people are actually trying. I tried to email the one in Australia but was unable to from this end. Seems like most want to jump into a lawsuit and not actually try to start one. The biggest problem with lawyers is that they are fighting Pfizer, the biggest pharmaceutical company in the word and I think they believe that it is a hopeless cause fighting them. I am curious, how many people are from Australia on this thread?

I was put on Lyrica for chronic pain and when I nearly committed suicide, and hurt an animal. The rage was real... I stopped it right away just to end up with a new condition where my feet and toes are burning like shards of glass is in them... I can't walk anymore because of it... I live in Florida if anyone knows of a lawyer.

I was on lyrica for at least 8 years for fibro. Idk exactly when I started. I stopped taking it after it was no longer helping me sleep or with any pain. Only now am I realizing that there are things wrong with me that never occurred before the lyrica. I will lay in bed and my whole body will just jerk. Or sometimes just my legs. It is weird because a split second before it happens, I know it's coming. I also experienced thyroid issues after I began the lyrica, but I am unsure if that was a side effect. Anyone else have these problems?

I was on lyrica for almost a year for ms foot and leg pain it worked great for about 3 months I told my dr.she just keep ed increasing the does.i gain about 100 lbs I got to where I could not talk my stomach swelled so big it looked like I was pregnant. I really thought I was going to die..The withdraws is the terrible thing.i had electronic shock going in my brain it felt like 220 shock.i still have problems to this day it has been 5 months since my last 150 mg pill.and the cost like 300.oo dollars for 90. I asked the dr to give me the geriatric . But she just wanted me to take the lyrica.this drug is dangerous. It should be taken off the market.

I developed severe rheumatoid arthritis after getting off of Lyrica. May be a coincidence, but I never had any arthritis prior to coming off of the lyrica. Doc said its not related but how much do I trust them anymore and also because of all the other issues from withdrawal. I had only been taking it for 5 months.
