Lyrica Class Action Lawsuit (Page 3) (Top voted first)

If you have had an adverse reaction to Lyrica, please contact a law firm. I just called mine and gave them my basic information, and they will be having a lawyer contact us. This drug is dangerous, deadly, and should be pulled from the market. Amomg all the usual issues, today i noticed a new one had been added. For males, sperm motility can be affected and children created by parents using Lyrica, there is the possibility of birth defects. Please call and at least get on record with this firm. The more of us who call and tell our stories, the more likely it is that the drug company is going to have to cover our medical expenses, pain and suffering, etc.

Unfortunately we have not been able to find an open lawsuit for us to jump into. None of us know a lawyer that will start one. It's a big pharmaceutical company that makes Lyrica, Pfizer. I think that lawyers are either scared of them or know it is going to be extremely hard to sue. I'm surprised about all the problems you have had going off. It really sounds like an allergic reaction more so than side effects. A lot of us just stopped "cold turkey" and symptoms started going away. Have you told your doctor about all these symptoms? Please discuss this further with your doctor.

Hi id say probably not as he only does australia look 4 a no win no pay type lawer one that's there 2 help the people surly there is someone over there like shine lawers sorry i can't be more help

Hi because im so sick im setting up 2 do most stuff on line 4 hime paper work ect due to Christmas it's taking a little longer i just got a scanner copier printer i just have 2 get well enough 2 set it up so he can access my medical records ect will keep u posted thanks

Hi Shian, I've had the same side effect as you. I successfully committed suicide and was dead for 15 minutes..... I can remember getting up and going to work one morning and woke 4 days later in hospital scared and wondering what the hell was going on!!!!!.....

I have no memory of the whole ordeal what so ever.... as a result I have lost ALL contact with my 2 children who are yelling out to see me... but here in Australia there isn't any lawyers that have the guts to stand up to the drug company or the prescribing doctor...... I really need help but there's no one out there willing to help :(

Thanks for sharing this kez...... my whole world has been turned upside down most of all my ex wife has stopped ALL communication with my 2 beautiful boys due to the drug I overdosed and was dead for 15 minutes and she says "you blame this all on a pill" and the courts here in Australia are all for the mums.

Can anyone still on Lyrica tell for 1 is there a leaflet inside the box and 2nd if there is does it mention suicidal intensions or thoights?

Thanks Shian I have done all of what you said but it always falls on deaf ears here in Oz. .... I've just sent an email to a lawyer this weekend to try get my kids back and to sue the pants off the doctor.... fingers crossed... I was cleared of any wrong doing by a team of mental health people that came to my house as soon as I told them the drug they said oh OK you've had the worst reaction well known to the drug.... and I was immediately taken off the drug.
I hope all goes well for you... can anyone out there let us all know if there is a class action against this drug so we can ALL join no matter which country you are from.

Wow brett u would think your wife would have noticed a change in u at that time? Good luck mate. I really hope u can sort this out. It seems lyrica has wreaked a lot of lives and these big companies don't give a s***. grrrr.

That's exactly how I felt!! Is your stomach more like you are 9 months pregnant with your diaphragm pushing up? Watch out it may not be fat, mine was fluid although the doctors wouldn't listen, the fluid started leaking around my heart and right lung. Thank God I choose to go off my own just in time.

Yes it does push up I cannot get out of bed my husband pulls me up.i went to a go dr he order a ultra sound but they can't get me in till Feb .When I eat or drink it swells up worst it is so tight. I ask the dr to change the lyrica he put me on something else I am scared to take it. My neurologist would not take me of.
