Luminal Irregularities
UpdatedI was diagnosed with mild luminal irregularities throughout the left and right coronary system. Can anyone please explain what this means?

To put it in more easy to understand terms, it's an abnormal narrowing of the cardiac arteries.
The term "lumen" refers to the inside space of a blood vessel through which blood flows. An irregularity in the lumen can mean a variety of things but often refers to changes in the shape or smoothness of the artery's interior surface. This could be due to the buildup of plaque, which is a common cause of coronary artery disease.
Has your doctor suggested any treatment or dietary changes?
I have just been told I have minor luminal irregularities in my right coronary arteries and inferobasal akinesis. What are they and how is it treated? I do not see my doctor for 6 weeks. Should I arrange to go earlier?
