Losec (omeprazole) Side Effects

Within 15 minutes of taking Losec (Omeprazole) 20mg, I am giddy and dizzy. Is it because I have been taking it for a long time? I use something else should I get heartburn, which is most unusual now as I changed to a vegetarian diet with very little protein.

I am no longer taking these medications and symptons as described have gone, thank goodness. Have not replaced with anything. I have had two bouts of heartburn, but took a homeoathic powder for this and in half an hour it had gone.

Yes, Omeprazole can cause dizziness as a side effect, along with nausea, headache, mouth watering, and stomach pain. The Tramahexal can also cause dizziness, since it contains the active ingredient Tramadol, which is an opioid used or pain. Palpitations are also possible side effects, most medications can cause them, however, they can also be caused by dehydration, anxiety, and other ailments.

Omeprazole is really not intended for long-term use, so if it is no longer necessary, you should speak to your doctor, as you might be better off taking something as needed, such as a calcium supplement for heartburn.

What dosage are you taking of the Tramahexal?

I wish to know if Omerprazole 20 mg can cause dizziness, as well as taking Tramahexal be the cause of palpitations. Something is making me dizzy and making my earfs ring, as well I now hve great difficulty in writing.
