Losartan & Body Aches

I was switched by my cardiologist from Lisinopril to Losartan because of the coughing caused by Lisinopril. Since taking Losartan 100 mg once a day I have experienced muscle aches from my shoulder all the way down the back to my thighs. It feels like I was doing a heavy workout. My VA Dr. said he didn't think it was from the Losartan. I see my regular Dr. in June and am going to inform him. Do any of u think it could be from the meds?

From what I could gather, Losartan does list the following side effects that may be what you're experiencing:

leg, knee, or back pain
muscle cramps or weakness
chest pain

To my understanding, it's unlikely that these side effects will subside until you stop taking what's causing them in the first place.
