Losartan Hctz 100-25 Mg Light Headedness

Will this med make you feel like you have the flu? I feel light headed. I drink no water at all, can this be causing the problems I have?

Yes, it can do that, especially if you don't drink any water! You must drink water, if you're taking this medication.

The HCTZ stands for Hydrochlorothiazide, which is a diuretic, is helps reduce blood pressure, along with the Losartan, by removing excess fluid from the body. It sounds like you may be getting dehydrated, because it's removing more than you're taking in each day.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and increase urination.
