i need a dr in the houston area today. ready to travel. ## Going to a different doctor is not going to help, because that dosage is no longer available anywhere in the U.S. All combination prescription products that contain Acetaminophen of greater than 325mgs per dosage have been removed from the market by request of the FDA. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I work two, jobs neither of which provide insurance, so I honestly cant afford to go pay a dr $100 to tell me that they dont prescribe any medications. i used to take 120 x 30 mg Roxicodone a month. I was in a horrible car wreck. I only want to get my lortab/Norco written along with an anti inflammatory med, can someone please make some suggestions of a good doctor?

That answer is possible. I have been sick with an upper respiratory infection from allergies., so I could have fallen asleep the night before and not taken them the night before the next mornings test I was feeling pretty bad. I go to pain management in Venice, Fl. I am a 65 year old female patient. The dr. I normally saw left in Jan. while still under contract where I am now. The dr. I had was a very caring dr. I was put with another dr (lets call him B) and saw him two times when dr A left. He is very abrupt. There is a sense of you need to be in and out in 10 to 15 min. With this dr. you go in and out with a sense of being done fast in the 15 min. probably allotted for a patient. There was no sense of caring and no real communication back from him on the second visit when I talked to...

Where can I find them? they keep changing them all the time. is it because you need to pay for them out of pocket instead of getting it on Medi-Cal? ## Hello, Hugo! How are you? I'm sorry, but the ones with the 500mgs of Acetaminophen in them are no longer available. The maximum amount of Acetaminophen that is now approved for these combination medications is no more than 325mgs per dose. Thus, if you have a prescription for one with the higher amount, you'll need to see your doctor for a new prescription. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can we get the lortab 7.5mg or 10mg somewhere other than the USA since the fda/dea has forced the drug companies to change their formulation here ? ## No, I'm sorry, but that would be illegal. If you are traveling out of the country and it is prescribed there, you can bring a 3 month supply of a medication back into the U.S. with you, the same applies to foreign people visiting the U.S. But, if the medication, or its equivalent is available here, then you can't order out, so to speak. Have you consulted your doctor? They may be able to switch you to an alternative medication.

I just got these this month. I had been taking the Watson 503. Which were 10/650's. These are 10/325. I've only been taking these for a couple of days and have taken the yellow Watson before. These are not as good. they are not as potent nor do they last as long. I was hoping that they would be more effective but they aren't. its not in my head. Can we take something else to get back the 175mg of Tylenol in some way to get back the pain reliever? (Blue watson vs. white watson) if they took OUT the dye and they took OUT 175mg of the Tylenol then why is the pi;; the same size? how long do lortabs stay in your system??? ## Bill, it depends on what sort of testing is performed. For example, Lortab would most likely disappear from a urine test within 4-5 days max, but might show up in a hair test up to 90 days later. Don't take these numbers to be 100% accurate, but the good news is that most standard drug tests don't look for Hydrocodone - rather they would most likely test for Codeine, Heroin, or Morphine usage. There are expanded tests to look for additional drugs such as Hydrocodone or Xanax etc. Hope this info helps. ## Lortab leaves the system after a couple of days. does lortab make a 10/325mg pill now the law has changed ## Lortab is not the name of a manufacturer, it was just the brand name for a medication that contained Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. The Watson White Generic Lortab 10-500 has been changed and they DO NOT work to relieve Pain thanks to our regulaters. I have taken the blue ones for years for chronic pain and I can say Diffinently they Do Not Work ! Go to Norco 10-525 and add childrens tylneol to get 500 mg acetiminifen and you will get the help the ue Watsons use to give. Just stop using the white ones so they will feel the decline in sales! I took a quarter of a 10 mg Lortab one day ago, will I be okay for a drug test tomorrow? ## Hi drob, I don't know what type of drug test you're going to be taking, but Lortab (Hydrocodone) can usually take up to 3-4 days to be out of your system for a urine test. In my opinion though, based on the amount taken, you should be fine within that 48 hours. I have also heard of other patients getting this drug out of their system in only 2 days time and they reportedly took more than you did. So I think the odds are certainly in your favor to pass. have bruised rib pain which is not controlled by 8 hydrocodone 5-325. for one night could i take two more? ## Hello, jw! How are you doing? Sorry that you're in pain. Taking too much of either of the active ingredients in this could be dangerous. Have you consulted your doctor? You need to check with them, before adding more tablets. There are other factors that could come into play, as well, such as your overall health, other medications you may be taking and etc.

i just starting them and yhey do not work like my lartabs did i have a lot of pain when i toke the lartabs i had no pain ## Hello, George! How are you? Sorry that you're in pain. What dosage was the Lortab that you were taking? Most of them have a lower dose of Acetaminophen in them now, which could explain why it isn't helping your pain as much. You may need a dosage adjustment or to switch to a different medication. Have you consulted your doctor?

For kidney dtone pain i was put on 7.5 lortab and 2 days later after surgery i was prescribed dilaudid 2mg. can you take these at the same time? ## Hello, V! How are you? Most pharmacists consider that after 3-5 "half-lives," close to 90% of the drug has been eliminated and is no longer affecting the body. The maximum wait to achieve five half-lives for Vicodin/Lortab would be 5 x 3.8 half-life = 19 hours. Some say that 2-5 days leeway is sufficient, based on this. I use to be on generic Lortab. 7.5 and my doctor switch the medicine to Norco 7.5 (V 36 05). I still don't get any relief. I looked it up and its the same med as the Lortab. Something seems shady, is he trying to trick me. ## First of all, your doctor has no control over which tablet your pharmacy has in stock and fills your prescription with. Your doctor can only designate certain things, such as you only get the brand name and/or that you only get tablets or capsules, but not from what company, so you doctor had no way of knowing you'd be getting the one with this marking, when you got your prescription filled.
