ph no for patient assist prograqm for lortab ## I Hydrocodone /apap 10mg/500tabs they were always blue in color question are they still blue or are they white ## you will find out when you go to pick them up at pharmacy if they have already ran out of blue ones. but they have quit making the blue ones and now they give us the white ones that look identical except for the color white, has same name Watson and same number 540. Why doesn't the white ip 119 work as good as the blue watson 540. My back pain is so bad since I switched ## There can be slight fluctuations in generic medications in the amount of the active ingredients, so it is possible that the one you're taking now has a slightly lower amount and just doesn't work as well for you. round,white and it says rp/rcc and it is a tablet ## one side reads RP/RCC the other side is blank. ## For anyone else looking for information on this tablet, it is not a prescription product of any type. This is actually an over the counter cold remedy that is sold by several stores as their store brand or a generic. It contains 400mgs of Guaifenesin and 20mgs of Dextromethorphan. I need a doctor that is liberal in prescribing pain meds cause i have been on pain meds for over 10 yrs and small amouts or less effective drugs like lortab dont work for me anymore... Why would a blue lortab 10 turn white? ## Are you certain that it was blue and is a Lortab or the generic equivalent? Are there any markings on it? Some pills may change color if they are coated and get wet, so the color washes off, but I am not familiar with any Lortab made that way. ## If it's a Watson 540, then it didn't "turn" white. Watson Pharmacuticals is changing the color. The white Watson 540 is still a generic Lortab 10/500. I am seeing a pain clinic. And I have an appointment on the 28th.I 5/500mg Lortabs each month to a month and a half. I lost my pills all 60 of them and have been going through a friend who takes 10/325 mg and another who takes 7.5 mg. I have severe pain in my back and can't go without taking the meds or I'm in screaming pain! I have been on lortab 10 taking 3 per day, soma 3 per day. have been for 10 years for my back, neck, and knees. Had surger on all 3 areas. I am on medicare. If you can help I would ge grateful. my doctor passed away so that is why I am looking for a doctor. ## You'll most likely get more responses if you can post back with your general location. You don't need to be specific, but the closest large city would certainly help. I have been taking Lortab 10/500 3 times a day for about 2 years for fibromyalgia,, bulging discs, arthritis and connective tissue disorder. I seem to be getting worse and as long as I can keep taking it within about 5 hours during the day and at bedtime, I can tolerate the pain. I want to take a 3 wk vacation, but the flight and driving is going to kill me. Is there anything I can suggest to my doctor that will be time released, but not knock me out where I can actually enjoy my time? I feel as though I have to do this before I get so bad I can't leave my community or my house. I am in severe pain and no one will help because of so many addicts. ## I am sorry that you are suffering and having such problems. Unfortunately, there are several issues going on here. The first is due to the changes that were made to the laws at the beginning of the year. Medications containing the combination of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone are now being phased out for long-term use. Sorry, I posdted this in the wrong place so I am reposting it. I take 2 Lortab 7.5 and 1-1/2 each Valium and Soma a day due to an accident several years ago I broke 24 bones. I have had 3 false positives for oxycontin or Percocet. I have never taken either one. I had one instant test come up right with just the drugs I take. Could the combination of Lortab and Soma do this?

I am currently prescribed lortab 7.5/500mg for chronic back pain. At my last appt the dr said in my urine test my level was only in the hundreds and should be like 10,000...I believe I didn't take it the day before my appt...but any idea how long that test goes back? Some days my back isn't hurting as bad so I try not to take them...but others its really bad so I dont want my dr to stop prescribing them. I have alot of other medical problems so try not to take medication if I don't need it. But I really can't lose my pain pills. Some days I can't even get out of bed. Does anyone know how many days before my appt I should make sure I take them? Any advice or knowledge anyone can give?

I was wording what drug would work as good as Lortab, I have Lymes, and am scared with the government looking at Lortab as being so bad for you, what would be something I could use instead. ## Hi Sherrie, Based on my research, Vicodin is said to be one of the best alternatives to Lortabs (Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen). However, Vicodin (opiates in general) can be quite harsh on the body as well. I think your best bet would be to consult your physician since he knows your medical history. If I can recommend anything, it would be to try natural alternatives. I recieved the Lortab M363 when I renewed my presciption it however is NOT helping like the pink tablet ..is there a way to get the pink tablet this is a waste of my money.. ## The only thing you can do is ask if your pharmacy can order the other one in for you. My son has been on cymboxin for 3 years. The Doctor recently took him off and put him back on Lortab. He said his pain was so much worse and he ended up taking more than he was supposed to. Now a different Doctor has put him back on cymboxin and his pain is controlled. How soon will Lortab show up in system on a urine test. And how many days before it will not show up.
