Hi Sherrie,
Based on my research, Vicodin is said to be one of the best alternatives to Lortabs (Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen). However, Vicodin (opiates in general) can be quite harsh on the body as well. I think your best bet would be to consult your physician since he knows your medical history. If I can recommend anything, it would be to try natural alternatives.
