Please help me identify these very tiny light green round pills. One side has an A on it and the other side has a 0.5. Thank you. ## Hi Linda, I was able to identify a round light green pill with "A" on one side and "0.5" on the other, as APO-Lorazepam 0.5mg (sublingual); most commonly used for treating anxiety. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Apotex (out of Canada) and the DIN (Drug Identification Number) is 00655740. I hope this info helps!

I was told that there is a current class-action lawsuit concerning co-pays for lorazepam. If so, Watson lists it as containing 1mg of Lorazepam, which is a generic for Ativan, it is most commonly used to treat anxiety, and nervous disorders. I found these tablets in the med cabinet at home and would like to try and find out what they are if anyone can help? ## I know that "MP 6" on a white round pill is identified as Lorazepam (0.5 mg); but "MP 60" I am not quite sure of. I did read two other posts on MP 60, where both individuals had their suspicions that it too was also a Lorazepam pill; but I cannot confirm this ID 100%. I took a 1mg lorazepam a few times total over the last couple days. I weigh about 115 lbs. I have a urine drug test coming up for probation & need to find out 'about' how long it stays in your system for this test & future reference b/c until I get back into my doc I don't have a script & need them for my anxiety really bad so im having to take them around the drug screens until I get my script back. Hi, I've been taking lorazepam 0.5 mg once a day for 16yrs. Now my doctor wants me to wean off it, but I'm having a hard time. ## What tapering/weaning method have you been using? Generally, the modern preferred method is to gradually reduce the dose, while spacing doses further and further apart. Stopping too abruptly may create the risk of seizures, according to FDA reports. Does this 2 mg lorazepam manufactured by Watson and the same pill manufactured by Qualitest have the same inactive ingredients? ## I was put on the qualitest(so)? brand and after I've been on Watson for years - the Qualitest is a placebo to me. it does NOT work for me. my pharmacist at Rite- aid said they're all the same and I said no they're not and he said that they can't order Watson when they want anymore due to some bogus reason. I took a Lorazepam because I ran out of my Clonazepam and I have a metabolites test. I'VE BEEN TAKING ATIVAN 2 MG.AT HS.FOR YEARS , THEY SAID NONE SHOW UP IN MY URINE TEST.WHY WOULD THIS HAPPEN? ## Don't know if you're still looking for an answer to this, but basically cheaper urine tests (like the immunoassay) only test for the two most common metabolites of benzopdiazepines which are Nordiazepam and Oxazepam. Lorazepam's metabolite is molecularly dissimilar from these more common metabolites and therefore only shows up as positive in very high concentrations. I want Lorazepam that works as effectively as the US lorazepam substitution ## It's easy to fill a Lorazepam (ativan) prescription anywhere. So no need to worry for this. Go to the chemist and get a prescription. ## I got generic Ativan from {edited for policy reasons} in India. They came from the Phillipines in a tiny small plastic bag with no label. Most were crushed. They are yellow with Pzer on one side and scored on the other side. I took it to the pharmacist and he said he didn't know what they were. I have not been able to contact the pharmacy to complain, have emailed them without a response. I won't take them. They should be small and white. It was a horrible experience and very expensive. I have been taking Ativan for 8 years now, prescribed to me by my doctor, after being hospitalized for drug use. I am doing great now, but after a motorcycle accident got prescribed Ativan "lorazepam" again for pain and muscle relief but now I am at 6 mg of Ativan daily and it's not doing the job anymore. It helps me and relieves my pain and anxiety for one hour, then nothing. I need to find a replacement if possible just like Ativan. It's addictive I know, but very helpful in many ways and not heavy or disturbing the next day. I am 43 years old. ## I feel the same way. I take prescription Lorazepam for sleep. Will I fail a pre-employment drug test. I do have a prescription ## It depends on the dose and how much you take. If they use a cheap dip test you will probably be find, if it is a "good" lab it will may show but of all benzos Ativan throws the least number of positives.

I take 1mg of Lorazepam AS NEEDED for anxiety. I was rushed to the hospital and while there they did a urine drug test that showed up negative for Lorazepam (or any benzo for that matter). I took a Lorazepam the morning before. Since it showed up negative, I have been discharged as a patient due to noncompliance. How is that even possible, much less fair?
