How Long Does It Take Lorazapam To Get Out Of Your System For A Urine Drug Test

I took a 1mg lorazepam a few times total over the last couple days. I weigh about 115 lbs. I have a urine drug test coming up for probation & need to find out 'about' how long it stays in your system for this test & future reference b/c until I get back into my doc I don't have a script & need them for my anxiety really bad so im having to take them around the drug screens until I get my script back. I know there isn't an exact answer but im just needing a round about idea so I know if im ok or need to buy something to clean my system. Please help w/ info if u can. Thank you.

Lorazepam is a Benzodiazepine and they are usually detectable for approximately 6 weeks, after last dosing, in standard urine drug screens.

As you are aware, there is no way to give a precise time frame, because it will vary depending on your individual metabolism, overall health, activity levels, fluid intake and etc. There is also no guaranteed way to clean it out of your system.

I have been on cyclobenzoprine for months and I have never had a physical dependence for them. Its not a controlled substance so I don't believe physical dependency is really an issue.

Whether a substance is classified as "controlled" or not has no bearing on the significance of dependency. Ppl are addicted to hot wings, cheese, bacon, cola, sugar, icy hot... You name it.

This isn't true. I take them regularly, as prescribed and had a drug test last month at the doctors office. I also take percocet for pain. I had taken both two days prior to my test and came back negative on both. I had also taken Norco the day before and it also didn't show up. I was reprimanded and accused of selling my medication because I came up clean on everything! So, this is proof that these drugs leave your system quickly.

Xanax takes 6-9 weeks and that's a benzodiazepine so I'm sure about the same amount of time. I feel sorry for ya

You are so wrong, Xanax has a half life of 6 hours! It leaves your system faster then almost every benzo. I'm not tryn to be rude but half of what people are saying on this site are wrong or very very wrong. It's more like 5-7 days but I may be a little off. Valium has a long half life 150 hours, that can take a couple weeks or more, Klonopin is like 40-90 hrs half life. Ativan is quick or quicker then xanax. There is a chart, the drug class is benzodiazapines btw. Google the chart people before posting and making someone crap their pants.

The problem with benzos is they are pharmacologically broken down into three categories. Short acting, mid-range and long acting. This is based on the metabolic half life of the drugs, and the amount of time needed to build to peak plasma levels in your blood stream to ensure maximum efficiency. Taking as prescribed over the course of a few days/weeks/months will get the there. Regular users will experience longer detection times, especially for longer acting benzos like Klonopin, it can take up to 30+ days. Xanax is your prototypically short acting and even after the loading phase the half life is around 72 hours. Valium is a medium to long acting depending on how it is prescribed. Good thing is benzos are easy to get a script for to cover your ass.

Xanex have a shorter half life than that, you should be clean in 7-8 days at most. Depending on amount and how often its taken, your metabolism and activity level.. Now Valium, that's a different story. It can stay in your pee for over a month, though around 20+ days is more common. Again there are factors that effect this, but rule of thumb, give yourself a week for xannys and a month for v's.

Yes you could drop dirty in a urine test but can pass in a swab or blood test. Drink a lot, if swab test keep rinsing out w a good mouthwash. Especially just before you go in or go to a bathroom b4 the swab test.
