How can you tell if a .05 mg of larazepam is extended release vs. non extended release? ## Hi Anita, Based on my research, Lorazepam is not available in extended-release form so you shouldn't have anything to worry about in that regard. :) Although, in the event that something might be extended release, you could always just look up the imprint on the tablet to determine those details. (That is of course provided that you obtained it from a legitimate pharmacy and has a marking for identification?). I hope this helps!

Round white pill with Watson on one side and a number 214 on top of a split line with a 1 under the split line. ## Based on the description provided, I found your pill to be Lorazepam (1 mg). Lorazepam has relatively potent anxiolytic effects and its best known indication is the short-term management of severe chronic anxiety. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## does watson 241 work as well as with sandoz 98? Does sun pharma carry 1mg lorazepam made by ranbaxy or another maker I have been taking the ranbaxy brand for 20 yrs and doing well by it now I can't get it anymore and the ones I can get are making me sick ( headaches nausea etc) any answers would be appreciated. When will ranbaxy brand be available again ## Hello, Carolyn! How are you? It isn't that one isn't available, but that your pharmacy was able to get the other generic cheaper, when they needed to restock their supply. However, you can ask them about ordering the other one in for you. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Did you find a pharmacy to sell 1 mg tabs of Ranbaxy...

Small pink round with letter k inside a triangle one side and scored on other ## I'm sorry, but so far I haven't been able to find anything that matches this in any of the prescription drug databases that I've checked. This leads me to believe that it's most likely some type of over the counter product. Where did you find it? Some products are regional, so knowing a general location may help to narrow it down. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## I would never say for certain, but Im betting it is not only a foreign, (south american pharm-manufacturer) and fits with Ativan 2 mg descriptor. I have seen it before. But the color can change from time to time. Is this pill scored, one side, round, small, with a triangle and a K inside the triangle? How would you describ...

I have severe hypertension. I am 76 yrs old. I am allergic to most BP medicine, with horrible side effects. I am on clonidine three times a day with a 1 mg lorazepam. It was working well until my pharmacy changed manufacturers. I was getting Sandoz. Since I have had Qualitest and Watson generic and they do absolutly nothing, even if I take 3 at a time. I have called all around and nobody sells Sandoz. My insurance will not pay for the real thing and 60 pills cost 700.00 dollars. How can I get Sandoz again ? ## Hello, Caroline! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Since the Lorazepam is a controlled substance that is commonly abused, you most likely didn't get an honest answer from the pharmacies that you called. They have no way of knowing if th...

I took a .5mg dose of Lorazepam on Thursday morning. I have a pre employment drug test tomorrow (Tuesday). I took a home drug test with a 300ng/ml cutoff level on Sunday morning and passed for benzodiazepines. This was a one time dose and I do not take it very often. Since I passed the home drug test two days ago, should I be good for the lab test tomorrow afternoon?

These appear to be made by Sandoz USA, judging by the 'Inc.' I would strongly suggest steering well clear. This company's products bear no relation quality wise to the Sandoz goods made in Switzerland or their smaller facilities in Europe. Look at Sandoz USA Alprazolam 2mg. It is so embarrassingly bad, yet it is dispensed more than any other US generic alprazolam, of which there is only ONE good and ONE acceptable out of the over 50 on the market there. In fact that is probably, with the exception of alp originating in Pakistan, the worst quality of alprazolam I ever had. Or was that Mylan USA? Note, Mylan now have a label in Europe and sell superb alprazolam; almost 2 yrs ago they bought the much bigger MERCK GENERICS of Germany. Just avoid any drug made by either of these ...

Can I take two 0.5 mg lorazepam pills to make a single 1 mg dose if they are different brands? ## Hi Amanda! U can, if it's the same medication. ## One thing to note is that even though they are the same medication, the binders/fillers are usually different among various manufacturer's brands and generics. I just think it's important to be aware of this since there are studies proving that inactive ingredients can often hinder a pill's absorption and bioavailability. Also, with lorazepam being a generic medication, the FDA allows manufacturer's to have a 20% variability in the amount of "active" ingredients; meaning that one pill could potentially be more or less effective than the other one... even if they list the same dosage. Other than that, it sounds lik...

I read somewhere that Ranbaxy brand lorazepam 2 mg tablets contain 250 mg of terbinafine. Is this true? Is there any way to find out exactly what is in a medication which is not listed? I need to know due to sensitivity issues with many medications. ## Hello, Summer! How are you? No, that is not true. Lorazepam is the only active ingredient in them. And yes, you can find listings of inactive ingredients. I can check for you, if you'd like. Can you please post back with the markings on the pills in question? Thank you!

I take 0.5 mg lorazepam daily. Today is Monday. Will the benzo test show up positive this Thursday in a urine test if all I take otherwise is 8mg of suboxone daily? I was told 2 weeks ago not to take lorazepam anymore in order to keep getting the suboxone. BTW, lorazepam is not prescribed to me. ## How long did it stay in your system?

I was wondering what is the different between Watson and sandoz mfg. I take 0.5 lorazepam and I got a refill my medicine looks different. ## Hello, Dee! How are you? That is the only difference, the manufacturers. Once a medication is available as a generic, it is usually made by several different companies and whichever one your pharmacy carries at any given time, will depend on who was offering the cheapest price at the time they needed to restock their supply. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been taking lorazepam 1mg for years, but my most recent refill the pills do not look the same and I can't find them online. They are larger than the old ones and has a large kind italic V on one side and 4008 on the other side. Anyone know anything about this? ## Hello, Dee! How are you? I've been taking 1mg of lorazepam and I get my refill at a different pharmacy that I've never used before. At wits end... 15 years with the same doctor who prescribed lorazepam and alprozolam for extreme anxiety and social phobia. Dr is now retired, and thanks to junky dr shoppers, his replacement has " had it" with these degenerates. He tried to switch me to Buspar, an antidepressant that also works for mild cases of anxiety. I followed his directions and tapered off the Ativan and xanax and switched to Buspar. Well, I am back to where I was 15 years ago. Even though I have never abused the benzodiazepines, and never asked for more or asked a pharmacy to refill my prescription early, and the fact that I have 15 years of records in this new dr.'s computer, he will not prescribe medicine that will help me. I refuse to break the law and risk jail or health problems due to sub stand...

Ok so I take luvox, proprananol, ambian, Ativan, and Buspar for years and they are prescribed for me. I sometimes take seriquel and melatonin for sleep. I also take Tylenol. Will I fail a pee test for employment? Also my roommate smokes pot occasional lyrics but I do not. Will it show up as second hand THC-is there such a thing? As you can probably tell I have anxiety.
