I took ativan the day before my urine drug screen for pre employment. They did a Twelve panel drug screen and I tested negative for everything including benzos. And my dose was .30 mg. So everyone posting and saying that it's detected up to 6 weeks it is NOT.

after 6 weeks of 1.0, i have been weaning for a month, and have had 2 days completely off. But I am feeling, on and off, lousy!!!! I refuse to medicate myself anymore and have thrown all the rest of my lorazepam down the kitchin sink. I am wondering how long before I feel better? ## Hello, Littlegirl! How are you? You weren't really on it for a very long time, so that coupled with the weaning should greatly shorten the duration of the withdrawal symptoms, so they shouldn't last longer than a few days. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Am glad you are able to wean off, its extremely hard to do so when taking it for a long time. I know, I've been taking it for over 15 years, and am trying to wean off myself, but very slowly. I used to take 2mg., at night and 1/2 mg wh...

This month when I picked up my scrip for Lorazepam I was given a small white round pill with 59 and a half moon shape on one side and scored on the other side. I use lorazepam for insomnia and I feel like this pill has no medication in it. I have been on it for enough time to know what this medication does, I know what it feels like and these do nothing! Has anyone else had this problem with this brand? ## Hello, Caylah! How are you? How long have been taking this one? There can be some slight fluctuations from one generic to another, but your body will adjust after a week or so. Alternatively, if it's causing a serious problem, then you can talk to your doctor about just prescribing the name brand, so the pharmacy can no longer give you a generic.

what are then patients responses? ## Hello, Doris! How are you? Any generic on the U.S. market must meet the same FDA testing and approval process as any other, that means that all are effective. Have you had a problem with the generic from this manufacturer?

Hi, I have taken Lorazepam since 1990's off and on again, I hate to say these Cyril 2mg Lorazepam are not worth a spec of a 1mg. I was very sad they were so bad. I am not sure they are real. I even know how they taste- All Brands. These are vey bad meds if they are medication ## Hi Troy, Sorry to hear about your experience with this brand of Lorazepam. From what I could gather, Cyril Pharmaceuticals is actually listed as an Ayurvedic company on google. So I'm not sure if they have any sort of reputation for producing pharmaceutical products, despite their name. This company is also based out of India where quality control isn't regulated nearly as much as the FDA with regards to the manufacturer's integrity. And because this brand isn't available in the U.S., nor lis...

I have been having anxiety attacks for over a year. Mydoctor has prescribed both Buspar and Lorazepam. The Lorazepam seems to work better than the buspar. I am concerned that this drug may be addictive. Can you help? ## Yes, this is a Benzodiazepine, they are very addictive. That is why a lot of docs will no longer prescribe them except in extreme circumstances and many insurances will not longer cover them, either. Lorazepam is the generic for Ativan. Here is a page with some more information, and I will also copy in the relevant sections here for you, in case you do not have time to look it all over. Lorazepam-Drugs.com Lorazepam is habit forming. You can become physically and psychologically dependent on the medication. Do not take more than the prescribed amount of medication or ta...

I just wanted to know if alprazolam is generic for xanax,is lorazepam generic for xanax too, since it seems they are both perscribed for the sam e thing ## Although both medications are of the Benzodiazepine drug class, Alprazolam is the one and only generic for Xanax. Lorazepam may also be used for the same purpose, but that does not necessarily mean they are the same drug. Additionally, many patient reviews I've come across, agree that xanax is about twice as strong, but lorazepam has been known to make you more tired and your body more sedated. You can learn more about these drugs on the page for Alprazolam Details & Lorazepam Details I hope this info helps! ## I agree. Xanax, or as it is known generically as alprazolam is a member of the sedetive drug group as Lorazepam (whic...

Has anyone had a severe reaction to lorazepam manufactured by Ranbaxy? I had a reaction after having taken lorazepam from a different manufacturer and I do believe it is a manufacturer issue. Thoughts? ## There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one manufacturer to another. In most cases, they are not significant enough to make a difference, but you may be sensitive to any such fluctuation, so that's why it may have caused you problems. One way to avoid it in the future is to ask your pharmacy to provide you only with the one you are used to taking. Many will do this for their regular customers, though if you have insurance you may have to pay the price difference between it and their current cheaper generic. Alternatively, you could ask your doct...

It Has APO | 0.5 but the line is horizontal and the 0.5 is under the line with APO above the lline ## Hi Mr Bubbles, Based on the description provided, I believe your pill may be Lorazepam 0.5mg (Canadian version). I haven't come across any photos to verify the placement of the markings, but it still sounds to me like it could be a viable match judging from the dosage and place of origin. If this is in fact Lorazepam 0.5mg, the DIN (Drug Identification Number) would be: 00655740 I hope this helps! Does anyone else recognize this tablet?
