Hi I've been taking lorazepam for anxiety and major depression for about 2 months. Now my doctor prescribed me escitalopram 10 mg in the morning and 10mg ubanol at night but I still can't sleep. Can I go back to Lorazepam?

How long have you been taking the new medications?

If you abruptly switched from the Lorazepam to the Escitalopram, and Urbanol, you may be dealing with some withdrawal effects, and it could take some time for them to taper off, so you get the full effect of the new medications.

Escitalopram may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, mood changes, and weight changes, according to FDA reports.

Urbanol contains the active ingredient Clobazam, The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, suc as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability.
