Looking for a pain management doctor who will prescribe 30mg roxicodone 4 times a day or 30 mg OxyContin 3 times a day. Either in NJ or NY. I suffer from suffer chronic muscle and joint pain and I am desperate to find a doctor willing to help me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im only 21, I want to go to school, work and live a normal life! Please help. If you know a doc in philly who takes ins or who is self pay PLEASE give me the info so I can have my life back. NO ONE UNDERSTANDS CRONIC PAIN FOR THEY FORGET THE PAIN THEY HAVE EXPERIENCED IN THERE LIVES. LIKE CHILDBIRTH FOR EXPAMPLE. IN THE PAIN OF LABOR MOST WOULD SAY I WILL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN. BUT AS NORMAL PEOPLE PAIN IS FORGOTTEN FOR THE MOST PART THE TURE EMOTION OF IT. THIS IS WHY THERE IS SUCH A SAD AMOUNT OF PEOPLE AND DOCTORS THAT JUST DONT GET IT. PAIN 24/7 DRAINS YOUR DESIRES TO EAT, DO A NORMAL ROUTINE THAT IS SO IMPORTANT TO GOOD HEALTH. THUS A SLOW LINGERING TYPE OF TORTURE. CAUSING DEPRESSION, ITS ISOLATING, THIS SITE AND OTHERS LIKE IT ARE SO NICE FOR WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT GET IT. THE AVERAGE PERSON WOULD LOOK AT THIS SITE AND SAY THESE ARE JUST A BUNCH OF DRUG SEEKING PEOPLE. NOTHING FURTHER THAN THE TRUTH.
IT HAS BECOME JUST A DEGRADING CHORE TO EVEN GET OR WORRY IF I WILL BE ABLE TO FUNCTION THAT WHEN I GET MY MEDS I AM AFRAID TO TAKE IT AS PRESCRIBED AND WANT TO PUT A FEW AWAY FOR JUST THE SITUATION I AM IN NOW. WHERE I CANNOT GET WHAT I NEED TO FUNCTION. I DONT FEEL HIGH OFF ANY OF THEM. THEY JUST HELP ME TO COPE GET OUT OF BED, TO WANT TO EAT, RIGHT NOW NO ONE BUT MY HUSBAND KNOWS HOW I REALLY LIVE AND HOW ISOLATING PAIN AND OTHER MEDICAL PROBLEMS I HAVE ARE. I DONT EVEN GET TO SEE MY GRANDKIDS ANYMORE WHICH USE TO GIVE ME THE DIRVE TO WANT TO FIGHT. THE STRESS OF PAIN HAS MADE MY HEART RATE HIGH, BP TOO. SOME TIMES I JUST HOPE I WONT WAKE UP. NOT THAT THIS IS PART OF THIS SITE, BUT MY FAMILY LIFE IS A MESS TOO. WHICH DOES NOT HELP. MOST DAYS I DONT EAT FOR I CANNOT FIND THE ENERGY AND ZEZT TO GET UP AND FIX SOMETHING I CAN EAT. I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE LAST YEAR WHEN I GOT DENTURES. I CANNOT WEAR THEM. THEY HURT AND I HAVE CONSTANT SORES IN MY MOUTH THAT MAKES IT HARD TO WEAR THEM. THE LAST REPAIR SURGERIES, SAME RESULTS. MADE LIFE WORSE THAN BETTER. I CANNOT EVEN USE THE RESTROOM LIKE A NORMAL PERSON AND NEED A COLOSTOM. I HAVE HAD A LONG HSTORY OF SURGERIES GONE WRONG. AND WONT GO IN FOR IT UNTIL I GET PAIN MANAGEMENT BACK.
I GO IN MONDAY AGAIN TO THE DOCTOR TO GET MY MEDS CUT BACK MORE. FIRST NOTGHING THEN THE LEGEAL PART THEY FINALLY REALIZED THEY JUST CAN NOT LEAVE ME WITH NOTHING W/ MY HISTORY. BUT STILL NO SUBSTIUTE FOR WHAT WILL BE DONE TO COVER WHAT IS BEING TAKEN. ALL THIS TO HAVE TO GO THRU IT AGAIN WHEN I HAVE THE COLOSTOMY. I JUST WANT TO GET OFF ALL MED SO BAD FOR I HATE THE STRESS OF IT. I AM SO FAR FROM BEING A DRUG SEEKER IT IS NOT FUNNY. I HAVE GROWN TO HATE IT AND ALL THE PROBLEMS ITS CAUSED. WHEN I TAKE THEM AS I SHOULD I CAN GET UP EAT DO LIGHT HOUSE WORK, END UP OVER DOING THEM NOW FOR I HAVE BECOME SO WEAK.. DOES AMYONE ELSE GO THRU THIS. SOME TIMES IT BREAKS MY HEART I HAVE DREAMS LIKE ANYONE SHOULD THAT I CAN NOT DO. SOMETIMES I WEAR THE SAME PAJAMAS FOR 2 DAYS AND DON'T SHOWER..MY HUSBAND EATS THREE MEALS A DAY. I EAT PROBALLY 2 A WEEK. AND THE REST IS LITTLE SNACKS. I MISS FOOD BUT HARD TO EAT WITH NO TEETH. I NEED TO GO BACK TO THE DENTIST.
THEY WONT TREAT ME DUE TO MY HEART RATE AND HEALT ISSUES. IT'S DISCOURAGING THAT IN THE LAST YEAR 4 TIMES I HAVE GONE IN FOR APPTS. I HAVE BEEN SENT TO ER. TWO TIMES BY AMBULANCE DUE TO HEART RATE AND PULSE. THEY DONT WANT TO BE LIABLE BUT SHOWS NO HEART DISEASE. PAIN SICKNESS IS ISOLATING. I STAY IN MY ROOM MOST OF THE TIME FOR I AM EMBARRASSED. NO TEETH AND DON'T WANT TO COMPLAIN TO MY HUSBAND. I FEEL LIKE SUCH A BURDEN TO HIM. I DONT ASK HIM FOR MUCH BUT HE HAS TAKEN OVER SOME OF WHAT I USE TO DO AND I FEEL GUILTY. I AM REALLY DISCOURAGED AND THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I FEEL I CAN COME BE HONEST WHERE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND OR CARE. ENOUGH I DONT WANT PITY. I JUST WANT SOME PART OF A NORMAL LIFE. THE THOUGHT OF NOW A COLOSTOMY AND MORE PAIN OR POSSIBILITY OF ANOTHER BOTCH SURGERY NO PAIN MANAGEMENT. I PRAY TO GOD AND SOMEONE GIVE ME A WORD OF HOPE. I HAVE ASKED ALL TO GO SIGN THAT PAIN MANAGEMENT REFORM PETITION AT WE THE PEOPLE WEB SITE. I AM SORRY FOR GOING ON AND COMPLAINING BUT SOMEHOW I FEEL A LITTLE BETTER AND SOME NEED TO KNOW THE TRUTH. Lisa, some drs will prescribe on the first visit and some won't. You will need a copy of your medical records from your current or previous dr that proves that you have a medical reason that might require pain meds. If you see a pain management dr, you will also have to sign a pain contract and agree to random drug panels among other things.

Hi Lee, my name is Kathie..i am the person who first wrote about looking for a doctor who would write for 30mg of Roxicodone.since my diagnosis of Lupus,and spinal stenosis i now have A.S. ( Atkinson Spinalolis) of the spine too.i tried a closer dr but its not worth it getting 15mg don't help me with the agonizing pain i am in and careing for my grandson everyday im adopting.do you still have the info on the dr in PA ? Its amazing how many other ppl replied to the post.and tha kyou for this.im sorry i did not go back on here because i had hope in this other doctor..what a joke..take care ! Kathie

I am 32 years old, I have suffered severe lower back pain since 2005 when I got diagnosed with RA, CURVE SPINE, DDD, Hyperthyroidism, Grave's Disease... On a daily bases im prescribed norco 10/325 four times a day, in the morning if I do not take 1 1/2 I can not get up out of bed, I have 3 children and I was playing sports, I was playing softball and it was helping but my lower back has gotten worse within in the 3 months, I cant sit for a long period of time, I cant walk around for a long period of time, I cant even play with my kids and thats what hurts the most.I dont know what I can have done, please any advice would be helpful, there are also 3 bulging disks pushing on my spine in my lower back

I know of a good one. Dr Jose Isidrio Ramapo Joint and Spine in Airmont NY. He is excellent and fully understands your situation. I went in with absolutely no paper work ( after the first visit I did )and he started me in 10mg percs. As a new patient you have to start low. He soon moved me to 15mg roxicet 4x a day. I'm sure if I asked he would give me 30s. Anyway I hope this helps and please give him a call ...HE WILL HELP YOU

He told me if i dont like it then go somewhere else and go get treatment for addiction when i have NEVER abused, sold, or misused my meds that HE got me addicted to! I am a very active 29 yr old with sports and things like that and just want to get awayy from and find another Dr that will still prescribe me the meds i need to feel comfortable everyday. Id soo very much appreciate it!
