Long Term Use Of Nexito Ls
UpdatedI've been taking Nexito LS for the last three months as per my doctor's prescription. Recently however, I have stopped taking Nexito LS. Is it safe to stop taking it so abruptly? Please advise whether taking Nexito LS long-term is safe for my health?

Hi, JIshu! How are you doing?
Nexito LS contains the active ingredients Escitalopram and Clonazepam, so it combines an antidepressant with a benzodiazepine to treat depression, anxiety and nervous disorders.
It has the potential to be habit forming, especially if you take it for a long period of time. It may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
Additionally, if you've been taking it for a long period of time, a sudden withdrawal creates the risk of seizures.
