I went to the doctor with a blood pressure reading of 161/102 so she put me on lisinopril-hctz 10mg. My BP dropped within 30 minutes to 83/60 after just 1 dose. It has been 3 days now and my BP hovers between 83/60 and 111/63. I'm now a bit concerned because my BP is usually 134/90-140/95 (sometimes higher) and this just seems a bit low. Is this normal after just 1 dose? ## Hello, Cattz! How are you? While the 134 and 140 are not dangerous numbers, the 90 and 95 are concerning, normal is considered a systolic of 120 or less, and a diastolic of 80 or less and it should be treated to lower it to more normal and safer levels. Hello I have been taking a blue oval lisnopril 10-12.5 hctz once day. Can I cut this dose in half as I feel that dose is to high for me. There is no score line but have a pill cutter.. ## Ask your Doctor he/she may have something better in mind for you. Been taking 40mg. Of lisinpril and 10mg of norvas for years started getting lightheaded and dizzy so they cut my lisinpril to 20mg, kept the norvas the same, BP been good but now having bad headaches, still some lightheaded moments. Can lowering the lisinpril cause the headaches? ## Hello, Kell! How are you? I accidentally took a double dose of my meds this morning. Took 2 lisinopril 10 mg each 2 claritan 24 hr dosage and 2 ibuprofen. Just worried about it. Will I be ok? ## Hello, Jamie! How are you? I started taking 5mg of Lisinopril about 2 years ago. Within a month or less I started having unexplained shoulder pain. Then they raised my dosage to 10mg per day. My joint and tendon pain keeps spreading. It's worst in my knees, but it moves around. I get it in my hands, elbows, hips, ankles, feet and even my neck. It feels like mostly tendon pain and tightness. It's like tendonitis without the swelling, redness and pain to touch. I'm gonna go off the Lisinopril tomorrow to see if it helps. I was taking the TEVA Triangle shaped 10 Mg. The Drug store switched to a round white one with only a 10 imprinted on it. I am having issues. PO just means per os (orally), as in she's supposed to swallow the tablets and the eq means equivalent, as in the pharmacy can give her a generic or multiple tablets/capsules, as long as it is an equivalent dosage. I have been out of lisinopril for a couple of weeks, and have noticed my feet are swelling up, and was wondering if not taking it could cause the swelling. ## Hello, Donna! How are you? Need to know color shape and size of lisinopril tablets by this Mfg Accord. I want to make sure I am taking the right medication. The pills I have has the number 3973 on one side and a v shape on the other. ## This tablet is actually manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals, but Accord is a licensed distributor and they do list them as containing 20mgs of Lisinopril.
