Linzess Is Not Working!!!! (Top voted first)

I started taking the low dose now I take too of them a day...only had one bowel movement when I started ...don't know what to do not #help

Hello, Terri! How are you?

Are you making sure to take it in the morning, with a full 8 ounce glass of water, at least a half hour, before eating or drinking anything else?

It seems that some people weren't told that by their doctor or pharmacist.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, bloating and diarrhea.

Exactly right. That is how my doctor instructed me and it works, usually within an hour.

Hi Terri, Linzess stopped working for me as well after about a year. One thing that did help me while on it was after taking it in the morning with a big glass of water, I would waite about 15 mins and drink a 6 to 8oz glass of Prune juice. I believe my body just became used to it as we all know happens with some medications. I now have a script to start taking Movantik. I hope you find some relief :( .
