Shees, Cheeky.You mean you just stopped the Lexamil? No wonder you felt so bad. You should have weened yourself with the help of the doctor. Good luck with the new meds.

i was on Lexamil for 5 months and just stopped it 3 weeks ago, feeling terrible, dizzy, feeling like im in a tunnel, tired,no balance, bloated, nasues and very aggresive. Went back to doc as i didnt know what was wrong, thought i was having a stroke or something, only to find out it was because i left the Lexamil. She put me on new meds, cant wait for them to start working as im terrible state.

The nightmares may be caused by heart rate falling below individual acceptability. I experienced the same when I was prescribed a beat blocker some years ago.

Hi, is anyone still on this forum? I have been on lexamil one week ago. I was on cilift prior to that. Most of my anxiety symptoms show improvement but I still get anxious and struggle to eat. Has anyone else experienced this and is there light @ the end of the tunnel?

No, I don't think it makes you drowsy. I take mine also in the morning.

I was under the impression Lexamil should always be taken in the morning, I do, but in this discussion I see that some people take it in the evenings, before bed. Does Lexamil tend to make you a little drowzy or keep you awake. I get very sleepy in the afternoon & need to give myself a kick with a strong cup of coffee. I'm also on Redilanz & azor.

I had the same side effects. I also experienced clenched jaws. To better this, discuss with your doctor the possiblity to use Welbruten in conjunction with Lexamil.

Hi there.ive been on Lexamil for a month now and find I have no sex drive or cant reach orgasm and also am having the worst nightmares ive ever experienced in my entire life.Any suggestions???

Don't think so Clement. I never experienced it. Had clenched jaws in the first few months and affected libido but otherwise its fine.

Hi there, i would just like to know if Lexamil 20mg causes heartburn? I notice that i get this a little while after i took the pill. Is this normal? I am 40. Thanks.

Sue I also gain 20kg in one year I am starting to go off the Lexamil start on 10mg, are now on 5mg, and find a product that helped me lose the weight, still using Lexamil Let me know if you need info

I have been on Lexamil for a year now. I must say I have been on other anti depressants before, but this one seem to agree with me more. Now its time for e me to stop them and I have weaned myself off of them, but now its the long haul before I can feel normal again. I have one question though. How long before the withdrawl side effects dissappear?

Dont worry about this. It take 4-6 weeks before you will see any change. Be patient, because you will feel ten times better. Hang in there.

Hallo Gina. You must first give the medication some time to start working. After about 3 weeks you wil see results. Don't stop your Masters - just take it easy. If you don't feel significantly better after a month, see a psychiatrist so that he can maybe work on your dopamine levels. You will get through this.

Hi there,

I am a Masters student of Landscape Architecture. It its only 3,5 months in and i am suffering from bad anxiety attacks. I can't stop crying and my mind races constantly, even when i'm out taking a break. My GP put me on to Lexamil to help me cope- I have been on it for 6 days and I feel even worse. Is this normal? Should I not listen to my body and discontinue the Masters as I feel like I am not coping emotionally? I don't know what to do....
