Lexamil 20 Mg Sudden Cessation
UpdatedI would like to know if Lexamil 20mg can cause fatigue and migraines. I've been using this drug for almost 2 years and I'm feeling very tired everyday. I've also gain 5 kg. Can i just stop using the drug? Will there be severe side effects?

Lexamil contains the active ingredient Escitlopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant, so yes, after taking it for such a long period of time, a sudden cessation may result in some severe rebound effects, such as worsening depression and anxiety.

You should consult your doctor, because it's usually best to taper these types of medications, to minimize the withdrawal effects.
