In December I was diagnosed w/ cataracts in both eyes (I'm only 54). Two days ago I heard an ad on TV for Nasonex & it mentioned cataracts were a possible side effect. I used Nasonex for a few months a couple of years ago & I just bet it's the culprit behind my eye problems. Anyone else in the same boat as me?
I to used nasonex and had to have caterac sugery in both eyes I was even younger 49 and 52
I used it when it first came out. Two years later I had unexplained loss of vision and went from not wearing glasses to bifocals. My vision continues to worsen
I was 35 when I was told I had cataracts. I have had one surgery and it did not go as planned.

We're definately in the same boat. My husband at the age of 34 came down with a cataract that was steroid induced. The only steroid that he ever used was Nasonex. Had the cataract removed, and now is having more problems. I would love to prove to the company that this drug did this.
My mother used nasonex for a few years and She is suffering severe eye problems and the pressure in her eye goes up far beyond average frequently. She is currently seeing a retina specialist and undergoing very expensive And painful eye procedures. She is now very sensitive to light in her eyes and has to constantly wear sunglasses even to do simple things like watch television. The specialist ran every test possible and the only source they can think that cused this is Nasonex. My mother is only 49 years old, and she has no other health conditions besides allergies (the reason she used Nasonex) We are praying she does not lose her eyesight. I wish we would've known nasonex causes issues with eyes. Please reply to cost with any information regarding compensation or anyone who is suffering from use of Nasonex.
Nasonex may cause cataracts or glaucoma, or it can make these conditions worse, however, the problem you are going to have is the burden of proof.

Do you have any medical evidence that will show that you got them from using the Nasonex and not due to some other reason?

These legal suits don't really net anyone any money, other than the lawyers that are involved, if one does get filed and the only people that can get any type of recompense are those with proof that the drug directly caused their injuries.

Does anyone else have experience using this medication?
