I am taking the SG 109 and I feel pretty good. I didn’t break them. I usually take more than one. Does anyone notice that the name brand soma is not as good as the generic?
Wow, I thought something was wrong the first & second time taking this SG109. It is NOT Soma. It does absolutely nothing!!! Going to my Pharmacy tomorrow. I want my money back!
Re: Lala (# 8)
Was just making my morning coffee while reading this. Going to follow your instructions since taking a whole one doesn't work. Thanks for the advice!
Re: Lcy (# 2)
Break the pill in half and take with hot caffeinated coffee or a soda with tons of caffeine in it, then go lay down in a place where you won't fall down because after a few minutes you'll be so relaxed you'll be out of it.

I completely agree! The federal government has no business what so ever dictating to us chronic pain sufferers what we can take or how much of it we take. I'm so sick of hearing about the opioid epidemic when they really need to say it's the heroin epidemic and leave the people who are actually in pain alone and let us get our meds without such a hassle. I'm about to take a soma (SG109) & I hope it works. I'll get back to you folks on how this turns out.
I also received the sg 109 and am having the same issue. The most effective Soma I've used says dan on it. Then I was getting a different generic and it worked ok but not as effective. But this sg 109 is by far the worst I've used.
I agree with the other post. This pill marked sg109 did nothing for me. Usually one will put me to sleep. I have taken two now within four hours and I'm still feeling pain and not sleepy. What's the deal??? That should not be sold to the public as Soma cause it has nothing in it obviously that resembles the Dan Soma.
I've suffered with Chronic Pain for over 15 years now, and I've had the same experience with Soma/Carisoprodol (SG 109). Sometimes it works, and other times it has no effect at all. Thank You so much for the heads up. I'll be discussing this with my Pharmacist today!! This reminds me of the alleged "Federal Guidelines" my Pain Management Doctor has recently FORCED on me and fellow Chronic Pain sufferers.
The Federal Government is now diagnosing me, and deciding how much, if any, Prescription Medication I receive. They're doing this without ever talking to me, or even reading my file? My Doctor has reduced my pain medication by over 70% without ANY medical reason whatsoever. I'm Suffering needlessly while the Federal Government continues its' role as Ventriloquist, using my Doctor as a Dummy. Enough is enough.
This white round pill SG 109, labeled as "carisoprodol" is junk! I've taken SOMA for 15 years and have never ran into the problem of having them filled and not having the right medication. I believe this is one of two things due to how non effective they are:
1) The pharmacies bring out placebo products as they do for their studies and that's what I have gotten ahold of here; or
2) someone has the wrong components which make up Soma "carisoprodol".
This is by far the dumbest problem I've ever ran into with this. COMPLAIN TO YOUR PHARMACIES AND DOCTORS or they will not fix this major problem. IT'S SO VERY DANGEROUS to trick or tasse such a medication that causes so many different side effects such as Seizures, etc. Everyone please call these people out for this major problem or they will always think it's ok and do it as soon as possible, as soon as you notice your meds aren't working. Thanks so much for listening!
This pill does nothing, must be stale.
Hello, Steven! How are you?
This tablet is manufactured by SciGen Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 350mgs of Carisoprodol.
The FDA classifies this medication as a muscle relaxant that is used to alleviate the pain associated with strains, sprains and spasms and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.
Is there anything else I can help with?
