Large Round White Pill Scored On Top Markings M 12

Hello, I am usually very good at knowing different pills but I have looked this pill up on every pill identifier, also all of my pharmacy tech books and cannot identify it. IT is a large round white pill that is scored only on the top, and has the marks M 12. Can anyone help me. I randomly found it in my cup holder in my car, and I have no idea how it got there. Any one know i would greatly appreciate your help. Its driving me nuts. ITs prolly some OTC stupid drug but I need to know what it is. Thanx

I've been checking for this, off an on, in various resources, since I first say your post the other day, but I am not having any luck, either.

If it is an over the counter product, it may be very difficult to identify, since they are not required to log their imprints, like prescription medications are.

There is also the chance that it could be a foreign medication.

Are you located in the U.S. or elsewhere?

If the white round pill scored with a M 12 also has an rph on it, it is called metphormin and is used to control diabetes, but it would need to have the rhp on it also otherwise I dont know what it is either. Andrea
