These aren't necessarily always cherry flavored, it may vary depending on which one someone buys, they may be mixed fruit flavored, or even several varieties of mint.

However yes, they are antacid tablets that contain 100mgs of Calcium Carbonate, they are a generic or store brand equivalent of Tums.
