It is normal to experience side effects when your dosage is raised, because your body has to adjust to the new amount of the medication.
Body aches and muscle cramps are both normal side effects of the medication, you may also experience nausea, abdominal pain and back pain.

I've been taking Lamotrigine for 20 years. I switched insurance companies and now fill my prescription somewhere else. I've never had allergies before but now i have bumps all over my body. My doctor thinks it's because my medication was from a different manufacturer. Is this possible?
