Lamictal - Hydrocodone

I am currently prescribed Lamictal for bi-polar disorder. I am getting my wisdom teeth out quite soon and as told by doctor, will probably be given vicodin for the pain. Does anyone know if there is any serious reactions being on both things?

i am prescribed both daily and have no problems at all,,,,,,,,,,

I would not take them together (ie., at the same time). I would try to put a two or three hour spread between them. Also split Lamictal dose if your pdoc says it is alright- take 1/2 your daily dose in the AM and 1/2 in the PM. The hydrocodone may not have the full pain management effect depending on your lamictal dosage. If in doubt, always ask your PHARMACIST. They can look up drug interactions and recommendations easily.
