Hello All,
I have been on levothyroxine 125 for about two weeks and I hav e swollen ankles and feet on a daily basis. After contacting my dr, she said I should take two water pills and a linsopril twice a day even though I have weak bladder from Multiple Sclerosis. If I take a iopdine supplement will this up my levels? advice plz!!!

I am not sure if the iodine would work to help enable your levels to change and for you to lower the dosage.
But the severe swelling can be dangerous, which is why your doctor wants you to take the diuretics. If it remains untreated, there is a chance that it could cause severely elevated blood pressure and/or congestive heart failure.
Has anything else changed in your lifestyle recently that may have caused the swelling/fluid retention? Are you eating differently? Perhaps foods with much more sodium than usual?
Are you on any other medications?
