Withdrawal from Clonazepam can occur if you get use to taking the medication regularly and you become physiologically dependent on it. I started on the .5mg and recently was changed to the 1mg ## Im going into rehab and need to be clean of clonazepam. I took 0.5mg. for one year. Been off it 5 days, is it out of my system? If i took a klonopin on monday, will i pass a drug screening by thursday? ## The half-life of clonazepam (Klonopin) varies, but can be as much as 50 hrs. That would mean that it would take a little more than 2 days to get rid of HALF of the dose. So, that puts you at Wednesday - allegedly maybe half will be gone. You mean KlonoPin. Klonopin is a benzodiazapine used for seizure control and panic attaks. It is frquently prescibed for severe anxiety due to a very long half life as opposed to Xanax and Valium. I am taking adderall and clonazepam and my urinalysis showed up as methamphetamine. Is one of these drugs causing this? ## Yes. The adderall. It IS AN AMPHETAMINE. I took 2 5mg klonopins on October the 31st and no more after that. But then I had to take an urine test on November 16th. Will the klonopins be out of my urine by then? For starters ive took klonopin .5mg twice a day for 2weeks and lexapro 10mg for 3 weeks now. The klonopin I was just taken off completely it was just being used till the lexapro took effect. Now my question is when will the klonopin be out of my system? The reason im asking the past 3 days ive been having terrible symptoms that look like side effects of lexapro but also withdraw from klonopin. I just took a hair folical test for cps and it said there Was methamphetamines in my system. I do not use methamphetamines. I was prescribed Klonopin 1mg about 3 years ago to help with anxiety and sleep. I wish I would of never started this Benzo! The "Nurse Practitioner" who handles Mental health patients did not educate me on what I was getting myself into. When I started taking it of course it was helping me sleep & somewhat helping the Anxiety. I would see this Nurse Practitioner once a month and I would speak on how I was feeling. Throughout the year's never once was I made aware of the Benzo withdrawal symptoms. Fast forward to about a week ago. So I know someone who just got this pill from Walmart. He has taken the green 1 mg pill for years. He is very agitated and this isn't working. He can't get it somewhere else for a month. It's a round yellow pill with e62. ## The correct imprint for the generic 0.5mg Clonazepam in question is actually depicted as "E over 63" on a round yellow pill; and the backside is scored. I'm on Suboxone and am also a dialysis patient. I take Klonopin for the anxiety and my doctor wants to put me on Vivitrol, but will I still feel the effects of the Klonopin? ## According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool) there are no drug interactions listed between Klonopin and Vivitrol. However if you plug Suboxone into the mix, then it comes up with interactions between Suboxone and Klonopin as well as interactions between Suboxone and Vivitrol; particularly the Buprenorphine in Suboxone. I don't know if your prescribing doctor is aware of this, but if you visit the University of Maryland Medical Center and use their drug interaction tool, then perhaps you can show this to you doctor for a second opinion. Hi, I recently lost my psychiatrist of seven years because he moved. I have been on klonopin for that entire time and am afraid that if I start with someone new they will take me off the klonopin because I have a history of abusing pain pills.
