Levetiracetam, sold under the brand name Keppra among others, is a medication used to treat epilepsy. It is used for partial-onset, myoclonic, or tonic–clonic seizures and is taken either by mouth (with or without food, same time everyday) as an immediate or extended release formulation or by injection into a vein.

Depression and anxiety are listed as serious side effects, and you should let your doctor know right away. He or she can then change your dosage or medication to best help you.
