Jardiance And Yeast Infections

I was taking Jardiance 10 mg at night before bed, it did keep my sugar down. Now I take metformin in the morning and radiance 25 mg before bed. I haven't had a yeast infection in years, and wondered if anyone else is experiencing this kind of reaction?

Does anyone else get awful side effects from Jardiance? Such as urinary infections, yeast infections? How long does it take to go away?

I have been taking this drug for three months. Have had no yeast infections or UTI’s. Works well for me. I do drink 3 litres of water a day strictly however to avoid concentrated urine so I’m used to visiting the toilet regularly.

Hi It drives me crazy the only medicine which works is Jardiance and I get bad yeast infections.

Hi yes I got thrush within the first week of starting that medication. I'm hoping people have ideas to prevent it.

no, I have been taking this almost a year. I have tried everything. I spend tons of money on probiotics. I have just decided after getting this last yeast infection, that I need to try something different. The yeast infections I get from this medication are the worst I have ever had. I am very tired of dealing with this. Took my last pill yesterday, will be calling my Dr next week.

I've been taking 25mg X11 wk. Yesterday I noticed itching. Sugars around 130 in am, decreasing to 90-100 during the day. Going to try probiotics. I came off actos due to 20lb weight gain. I also take metformin 500 twice a day. I'm loving the weight loss and feel amazing except for the yeast. However I also was on keflex for a sinus infection and it always gives me yeast.

Women with diabetes often experience yeast infections, when their sugars are out of control, as reported by the NIH. Thus, it may be more due to having it under better control.

Can any other women who are diabetic chime in?
