Well, I have been on Jardiance for 4 months now. I have lost 42 pounds. I have reduced meds. But I have to say, I am peeing every hour, and am fairly incontinent. I also have a funny ashy taste in my mouth. Is there anybody else out there on this stuff?

I started using Jardiance 25mg about a year ago. I have lost about 11 to 12 kilos of weight since them. My sugars seem to be in control but I have the following side effects

1. Dizziness when I suddenly try to stand up straight when I have been lying down or bending
2. My BP readings used to be 120/80 consistently. I am on olmecip 40. But after Jardiance it started to go to 130/60 sometimes 150/70 it started varying
3. I sometimes have hazy vision
4. About 3 months ago I started having severe vaginal itching and rashes

I informed my doc and she says vaginal itching is a common side effect. Why wasn't I told if this before? I have stopped Jardiance since 4 days. My doc is aware of this. Please advise. Will there be long term side effects of having taken jardiance?

I started on Jardiance 5 days ago and now I'm feeling sick. Can anyone tell me how long before this feeling will subside? My vision also seems a little blurred. Has anyone else experienced this and if so how long does it last?

How long does it take to get Jardiance out of my system? I had taken it for little over a week and had to stop due to too many side effects.

You can fill a prescription for it at Northwest Pharmacy in Canada for $113 for 28 days. Call them and they will walk you thru what to do.

Hi, is it safe to cut jardiance 25 mg pills in half? My doc wants me to go down to 10 mg and I have several packs of 25 mg.

Does anyone that takes Jardiance have depression with it as well? I started Jardiance in November and have had depression at the same time. I recently stopped Jardiance and I’m better. Is there anyone else with this experience?

Since taking jardiance, I have had genital pain and an itch which I have never experienced in my life. How long does it take to get out of your body?

Can a prickly heat type rash come from Jardiance (empagliflozin)? I get it only on and below my breasts and in my groin area. It starts out looking like a severe sunburn, bright red, then develops small pimples. It does not itch.

I’m on my 3rd week of Jardiance 10mg. In addition to Metformin and PIOGLITAZONE for the last 10 months. In May of 2020, my A1C went up to a 10.7 and morning fasting glucose was at 255, everything was bad with my diabetes.

I’ve been struggling for 10 months to get my fasting glucose and weight down, nothing was working. I eat well, limited sugar and carbs, no soda, no juice or fruit, hard cardio exercise daily for about 90 minutes, nothing worked, so we added Jardiance. In just 3 weeks, I’m down 10 lbs and my fasting glucose went from 160 to 140.

HOWEVER...my frequent urination is surreal! I can go every 15-60 minutes. Early mornings thru noon-ish are the worst. Even before my morning 1 cup of coffee and decaf dandelion tea. Any citrus will set me off. Walks or bike rides result in several pit stops along the way, which isn’t easy.

Is this a temporary situation? I understand the purpose is it’s flushing my liver of unneeded sugars, but I need sleep. This is the only bonus to not working for almost 450 days due to Covid. But when I do get back to work, I have no idea how I’ll cope.

I took Jardiance for 2 months until yesterday. I literally pee'd constantly. If I was in bed and moved I would get the urgent need to pee. I have an issue with urinary incontinence and it was like on overdrive on Jardiance. I was also having gastric issues with metformin even after 6 months. I'm am off both now. My urinary issue has stopped totally.

I've been having loose stools (diarrhea) ever since I started Jardiance. I was on 10mg for 4 weeks, now 25mg and it seems to have gotten worse. Haven’t noticed but a little more urination since I started though. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Richard, I believe you meant it lowered your A1C, not your Blood sugar as a FSBG of 8.3to 7.? would mean you were dead, but an A1C of those numbers would be a great decrease. Hope the numbers continue to go down.

I have been taking Jardiance for about 2 months. I have recently noticed that I urinate more and it is uncontrollable. Never had this issue before? I believe it could be the Jardiance because that is the only new medication I have been taking. I feel dry mouth a lot too and have begun to notice pain or numbness in my stomach area.

Is there anyone else out there who is having the same issues.
