Hi,I haven't 3 nights,but when I take iterax it helps for me,but one thing I notice is I still feel shaking,,,is this a side effect for the medicine,or side effect for the couple of nights that I can't sleep.,I take iterax 10mg but it seems no effect for me so I take 2 tablets at one time,is it safe?....LYN

my daughter has allergies like hives probably caused by heat or pollen. she was given iterax 10mg to be taken twice a day only for two days as per doctor's advice. if and when her allergies will come up again, can she still take iterax? for how long? thank you.

If she takes Iterax or Atarax only for allergic reactions. You might choose to get her on Cetirizine. It will do the same for allergies as Iterax without making her drowsy or sleepy. She can take this for a prolonged period. Please consult your MD for the right dosage.

Aterax is just one of the Brand Names of the drug.. Iterax on the other hand is also an existing brand name of the drug from another manufacturer.. Therefore, both names are correct..
