Isosorb Mono Side Effects

My Dr. put me on 30mg of isosorb mono er after a heart cath for angina. I developed a headache every day and my angina got worse each day. By the third day the angina was worse than before the cath. I extended the hours between doses til I went off completely and went back to taking l-argine from pantisin. Angina is all gone

Based on my research, the side effects of Isosorbide Mononitrate include but are not limited to: abnormal heart sound, heart murmur, headache, chest pain or discomfort, and chest tightness or heaviness. These side effects relate to symptoms of angina so it is very possible that you had a reaction to this medication.

I would definitely speak with your doctor about the problems you are having so that he can help you come up with a solution.
