i have had, 6 stints 6 mo later a triple bypass in 98 had to go to er in july for shortnest of breath, had aug 2009
had a stroke ,then a heart attack, sept 20010 another stroke20 days in a rehab .and have recovered fairly well, but think i am on too many drugs .- - about 15

Ollie! How are you? The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and hypotension.

Butch, can you please post back and list the medications that you are taking? Given your medical history, it might be necessary for you to take all of them. Sometimes, according to NIH studies, you might require a lot to get any given condition under control...... and that's a lot of stents. When I was released after experiencing Congestive Heart Failure, I was taking 14 different medications each day, for a total of 43 pills daily!!!

Once the fluid was removed from body, and my blood pressure was coming down, we were able to gradually remove medications, as appropriate.
