People that take Tizanidine will test positive for opiates. It's considered a narcotic, because there's 1 ingredient that they use in this and its used in opiates like percocet. The reason I know? - I just got prescribed it and it is a muscle relaxer, but my doctor told me it is considered a narcotic and he gave me a urine stick to take home, so he knows I'm taking it. Just so you people know, it will show up positive.
Editor's note: Tizanidine is not considered an opiate. It is classified as a muscle relaxer [1].

Zanaflex or Tizanidine is absolutely NOT a controlled substance. It is not an opiate. It is NOT A NARCOTIC it is a muscle relaxer......
