Is Mobic-meloxicam A Pain Medication? (Top voted first)

From what I was able to gather Mobic-meloxicam is an nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug and is used to treat arthritis. It works by reducing pain, stiffness, and swelling of the joints.
