Avalox contains the active ingredient Moxifloxacin, it is an antibacterial agent.

Common side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, skin rash and diarrhea.

There are no listed interactions between it and Simvastatin, but it can cause problems with some medications and there are far too many blood pressure medications on the market for me to check it against all of them.

Is it safe for a 94-yr old woman with cardio myopathy, congestive heart failure, high blood pressure & cholesterol, history of pneumonia and problems with fluid in lungs, stroke and heart attack patient to take such strong medication with so many side effects?
