If you have high blood pressure or a cardiac condition, then you may not be able to take Ibuprofen. NSAIDs can sometimes cause blood pressure elevations and fluid retention.

What has your doctor advised you to take?

Have you tried just taking Acetaminophen? That's usually safe to take, unless your doctor says otherwise.
