Hello, BJ! How are you?
It's not a good idea to take anything recommended by Dr. Oz, without checking with your doctor. Many of his recommendations were found to not have any scientific validity or medial proof and he is currently under investigation for making unfounded claims for many of the products he touts.
You can find various stories in many popular and well known new sources regarding this, as well as cautionary warnings.
Additionally, if you have high blood pressure, you have to be very careful what supplements you take, as some of them may act as stimulants, which could elevate heart rate and blood pressure, as warned about by the NIH.
