Injuries Same Leg S Turned Backwards At 18 Yrs Later

18 yrs i turned my rt leg all the way backwards aboout 3inches above the angel it was casted and i was sent home ive been afaid of it had severe pain in leg and lwr back it did the same thing last yr for no apperant reason i was chopper to herman had asteel rod and screws put in now have severe knee and back pain my surgeon took me off pain meds after 1 yr my question is will it ever be the same should i go to my family dr for my pain meds or what can i do

Yes, you should consult with your doctor, although don't be surprised if they refer you to a pain management specialist. Most general practitioners and surgeons are not trained in the use of medications and therapies to alleviate someone's pain, when the condition in ongoing and chronic.

It's actually surprising that your surgeon kept prescribing them for such a long period of time, as most will just provide them during your initial recovery period and then refer you elsewhere for long-term management.
