With the new laws, you're not likely to have much like finding a doctor that will do so, anymore.
There are some new, more strict regulations that went into effect the first of the year that dictates what they can prescribe, when they can prescribe it, how they can prescribe and for how long and they are relevant to most controlled substances.

I found some helpful advice from another thread on here that I wanted to share with you, in regards to getting a xanax prescription:
"Look for a psychiatrist, not a general practitioner, preferably one who specializes in anxiety disorders. Conduct online searches that contain the word 'Xanax' and the region you're in. I did this and came across a client review of a psychiatrist in the area who treated them with Xanax. Don't go in asking for Xanax, just describe your symptoms. Don't mention the drug until they ask you what you've taken before."
Here's one Dr. I found in Fort Worth who's been in private practice since 1979, with several certifications in various forms of Psychiatry:

He is just one of many options out there, so I would still consider searching around to see who might be best suited for your needs.
