In Nc...pain Management Rn, Said Soma Not Made Anymore?

Pain management for over 13 years. Saw an RN, not a pain doctor for some reason, I don't know why. Reduced my oxycodone 10/325 six/day to oxycodone 7.5/325 three/day, and ms contin ER 30mg three/day to two/day, then took me off 350mg SOMA three/day. Said that soma was not going to be in the market anymore!!?? Put me on Robaxin 750mg four/day and they make me very sick. Can't keep anything down. Called the clinic and RN is on vacation!! Nothing they can do! I can't understand this. It's soma being taken off the market? I've been a very responsible person when taking my medication. Every month I have a UA. I've passed all my pill counts also. I feel like I've did something wrong and I feel totally helpless and hopeless. I've been on same dosage for over 12 years. Fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, RSD, TOS, panic attacks...This isn't helping the war on drug abuse, it's making it worse, and legit ppl are the ones left feeling the effects! So, is SOMA being taken off the market, and if so, what's a good substitute?

I'm also a patient and I do have a current script for Soma that doc gave me - I filled it at Walgreens and they never said anything about it being removed from the market!

Perhaps one day it will be removed from the U.S. market but please don't listen to your R.N. One call to a pharmacy could have answered your doubts. I'd look for a new Pain place, report her to the Doctor

I took my script to Walgreens who in return kept my soma Rx. The Government needs to back off. The problem is the illicit drug overdoses, etc. I am 53 years old and have several back issues.

When they kept your script did they give you a bottle of Soma? I have a new set of refills waiting at Rite Aid. Just got the email and called them because I wasn't expecting anymore while my Doctor is Officeless.
