If I'm taking suboxone and I ran out. If I take a 20mg opana how long will it take for the my body to metabolize it?

Hi! I took 2mg suboxone / 0.5 naloxone. I still felt sweaty just like I was still withdrawing from the opana 20 mg. Then 5 hours later I took a 20 mg opana and did feel it, now eight hours later took 10 mg opana and not feeling it. What is going on?

It should be out of your body within 5 days. I have taken drug panels for work and my suboxone Dr.

The length of time any medication remains in your system is going to be dependent upon several factors including: the dosage taken, the duration of time you've been taking it, your age, weight, diet, whether or not you're taking anything else with it, etc.

The only way I can personally help you to determine how long it might take for the Opana to leave your system, is to tell you the half life (like Matt mentioned above).

Opana (oxymorphone) has an average half-life of 7-9 hours, which means that every 7-9 hours half of your last dose should be gone. It can take as long as 90 days for Opana to completely leave your system. To speed things up, be sure to drink plenty of fluids and eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Depends on the 1/2 life of Opana? Plus you may not even feel the effects of it due to Suboxones long long half life
