Hi Liz,
Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between Lamotrigine and Acxion (Phentermine). This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate.
In other words it is considered to be safe to take these together. I would however recommend that you don't take prescription fat burners, just because of the side effects. In the end you're going to make the decision to take it or not, but keep in mind just exercising for 30min-1hour a day along with plenty of fruits and veggies is the healthiest most effective way to lose weight. I would advise using the process of elimination to get the bad things out of your diet over the course of however long it takes (any progress is a step in the right direction).
