found a bag of pills ...they are round, pink. imprint of 10 on one side and an EC on the other side. It is scored with E on one side and the C on the other.. any ideas on what they could be?

The closest match I could find to your description is a white round pill scored on one side with "EC" imprinted above the score and "10" marked just below it; with an "M" on the opposite side.
Manufacturer: Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc.
This pill has been identified as Escitalopram oxalate 10 mg (base); used in the treatment of anxiety & depression.
I know this pill doesn't completely match your description, but perhaps it can at least be of service in narrowing down your options.
