I didn't find any problems or interactions listed, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure. As to other pain medications, I can't check, without knowing the specific ones you want to check. There are far too many available for me to check them all for you. The FDA classifies Ibuprofen as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Was it found in the U.S. or eleswhere? did you receive it in a prescription? ## I've been taking Ibuprofen 600 mg, stamped with 122 on one side; generic for Motrin. My Dr. ordered a refill and I got a smaller pill imprinted with "I 7"....Normally I would not care, but I got a bad reaction. I think it was mfg in India. I wanted the pill stamped with 122... My husband got his finger cut off yesterday and the doctor gave him 7.5 hydrocoden. And its been hour and half and he is in pain. I was wondering if advil woukd be ok to give him to help him out. The bottle says he can take two but he dont want to take 2 he took one. Thank you ## @Charlena, Sorry to hear about your husband's mishap. I am taking Ibuprofen for knee pain, wrist pain, arthritis. I just want to know how many times a day I need to take it? I'm 5'11" and 175 lbs. I've been taking it twice a day and it has not helped much so I'm really hoping that more will help. Can I take both Ibuprofen IB tablets (2) and one Hydrocodone - APAP (5-325mg) tablet for my pain every 6 hours? ## Have you been instructed to take them both? Please I need a lot of help.Last Nov.27,3016 broke all bones in big toe. I had no insurance so couldn't see the bone doctor. In March out of nowhere I had severe hip,outer thigh,front lower shin pain.It even had me down on my knees when it felt like a bolt if lightening pain shot in left side of groin.I can't sleep or lay on my left hip,there is a hard bump on my hipbone and feels bruised outside of thigh.Sheets make my shin hurt worse also.I went to my new Dr.PC immediately he says hip bursitis no xray or anything sends me to PT.that appt took weeks to get&lastest2times.Was told it was much more than just bursitis of hip much more. I have asthma too and my doctor said that ibuprofen can be bad for asthmatic. Since I always took ibuprofen and it was always ok, for me there is no problem with that. Bus asthmatic must be careful with it. About arcoxia and ibuprofen. Right now I'm taking arcoxia for my arthritis (witch says on the flyer that can also be bad for asthma when having a crisis because it can increase the mucous of the lungs). i was given a round pink pill from a mate for pain it has no markings what so ever looks like a sweet to the eye bright pink bout 10ml across 6or7ml what could it bedeep ## What kind of pill was it? I normally take ibuprofen to take the edge off impacted bowels. laxatives of every type I've taken. Only thing that helps the pain is vicadan/valium but I'm out. I have tevas blue pill and I was wondering if one pill would help? I don't have IBS like doctors say (just a bandaide diagnosis) I do not believe in. I was infected with giardia and irradicated however cousin "blastocystis" exists. I have symptoms of swelling, dysentary, irrative bowel movements'major gas, rumbling of stomach, pounding like sledge hammer on colon. I took 1 Gen Payne as i had a massive headache and after about 10 minutes i started getting massive stomach cramps. This cramps is also into my back. Its like a massive spasma. I got some Ibuprofen and it says i7 which is a different number than I've seen before. When I googled "white pill i7" it says that that number and pill color is Naproxen, which I am allergic to. Which pill is it? ## What color is the tablet and where did you get it? A blue oval pill with the I 7 on it is listed as containing 220mgs of Naproxen. Need to find out what this is that was in my bfs car!!!!!
